ANA - the American Numismatic Association- is the largest (over 20,000 members and oldest (est. 1888) numismatic organization in the world. Its magazine "The Numismatist" is published monthly.
AINA, the American Israel Numismatic Association, was established in 1967 by a group of diehard American collectors of Israel and Judaic numismatics. During the over four decades of its existence its flagship has been - and still is - "The Shekel", the world's only numismatic magazine in English dedicated to Israel and Jewish numismatics. The Shekel appears six times yearly and is sent to over 700 subscribers in the US and worldwide. AINA also has a substantial membership in Israel.
INCA, the Israel Numismatic Collectors Association, was established in 2000 by a small group of enthusiastic collectors of coins and banknotes. Today our organization numbers over 150 members. INCA holds seven meetings yearly in Tel Aviv, attended by many of its members. During our meetings we listen to lectures by well-known scholars on Israel numismatics. The Association also holds public numismatic auctions for members only. The INCA magazine is issued 3-4 times yearly and is the only regularly appearing numismatic periodical in Hebrew.
